4 Credit Hour(s) The course presents a continuation of practical knowledge of the general therapeutic classes of drugs and their interactions with the human body. This course will place emphasis on drug classifications, dosages and routes of administration, side effects, interactions, and precautions of prescription and nonprescription drugs. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
