NURS2414 — Adult Health Nursing II
4 Credit Hour(s) This course further develops the student’s knowledge of health, adaptation, and the utilization of the nursing process in meeting basic needs of adult clients. Emphasis is placed on the utilization of critical thinking skills in determining clients’ adaptive responses to internal and external stressors and the appropriate nursing actions to be performed. The nursing process is used to plan and implement comprehensive care to adult clients with complex health problems. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
