INET2023 — Motion and Time Analysis

3 Credit Hour(s) This course presents the principles and techniques used in work measurement and operation analysis. Topics involved are operator and machine process charts, product flow charts, operation routing charts, motion economy laws, standard time study methods, and synthetic time study methods. Videotape analysis and applicable computer programs are demonstrated. Technical report writing is emphasized and the student is required to write formal reports on laboratory projects. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.

Prerequisites: ENGL1010, INET1004, INET2003
