Genres studied include picture books, fiction, traditional literature, nonfiction, and poetry. This course transfers as Literature for Children, but not as a literature course to fulfill the general education requirement. This course is primarily intended for those majoring in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1010
