ECED2385 — Math and Science in Early Childhood

3 Credit Hour(s) A course on standards, principles, and practices in teaching mathematics and science to young children ages birth to eight. An emphasis will be placed on developing an integrated math and science curriculum that includes appropriate content, processes, environment and materials, and child-centered choices. Field experience is required. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
