AOTP1560 — Commercial Flight I Practicum

2 Credit Hour(s) This is the first of two courses needed to complete the training required for the FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate for single-engine airplanes. This course covers the first phase of commercial pilot training: cross-country navigation and flight review. It includes 33 hours of solo flight, 11 hours of dual flight instruction, and 5 hours of ground instruction and pre-/post-flight briefings with an FAA approved flight instructor. After completing Commercial Pilot Ground School, students take Commercial Flight I Practicum and Commercial Flight II Practicum to meet the requirements for the FAA Commercial Pilot Rating. will be done as a credit course via a stand-alone non-college FAA 141 Certified Flight School.
