3 Credit Hour(s) This course provides the classroom instruction required for instrument flight training and the FAA Instrument-Airplane Knowledge Test. Topics include flight by instrument reference, flight physiology, IFR aircraft operations and procedures, radio navigation, en route charts, instrument approach procedures, flight planning, weather, and IFR regulations. Students that complete the course satisfactorily may earn the required endorsement to take the FAA Instrument Rating Knowledge Test. Students are required to be enrolled in, or have completed, this course prior to beginning Instrument flight training. Student Learning
