Environmental Health and Safety Studies
The Environmental Health and Safety Studies program concentrates on safeguarding workers and the environment by focusing on physical, chemical, and biological hazards that can exist in facilities managing hazardous materials and waste. Students will learn to control workplace hazards, apply emergency response techniques, and gain knowledge in the areas of regulatory compliance, toxicology, pollution prevention, and the cleanup of contaminated air, water, and soil.
