No Credit. Lecture 36 hours. Develops listening, speaking, pronunciation, and vocabulary. Explores different aspects of local and student cultures in social and transactional conversations through the use of different media (songs, short videos, social media, etc.) as learning tools. Recommended for students with novice-high proficiency or higher according to California Pathways or A2 or higher according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. [ND]
