This course is designed specifically for students in business and the social sciences with emphasis on applications of basic concepts of calculus rather than proofs. Topics include: limits, differentiation of polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions; maxima and minima; partial derivatives; and integration techniques including substitution and integration by parts.
