RNSG 2121 - Professional Nursing: Leadership & Management RNSG 2121 - Professional Nursing: Leadership & Management Exploration of leadership and management principles applicable to the roles of the professional nurse as a provider of patient-centered care, patient safety advocate, member of a health care team, and member of a profession. Includes application of knowledge, judgment, skills, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. Utilization of the nursing and management processes through critical thinking and problem-solving activities will emphasize accountability, collaboration, delegation, and advocacy and will the student in making appropriate decisions. Nursing inquiry, synthesis of ideas, and completion of projects will inspire new directions for the nursing profession. This course lends itself to a block or integrated approach. Semester Hours: 1
