ESOL 0300 - Basic ESOL Reading and Vocabulary ESOL 0300 - Basic ESOL Reading and Vocabulary (3:3:0) This course s students begin to develop English reading proficiency and vocabulary for academic, career, or personal purposes in speakers of languages other than English and prepares them to function in a multicultural, multilingual society. Placement is determined by need and/or TSI reading scores of 310-341, ABE level 1-3. Note: This course will not satisfy graduation requirements but does satisfy TSI requirements for enrollment in a basic developmental reading course. Semester Hours: 3
