HIST 1140 — American Women’s History
American Women’s History is a survey course study- ing the experiences, lives, and contributions of women in American history from the colonial period to the present. This course traces the changing roles of women throughout history as well as their experiences on racial, ethnic, class, and political basis. The prob- lems and solutions women have faced, along with their many achievements, are discussed with an emphasis on understanding the important roles women have played in American history.
