EMAT 1023 — MEDIA ETHICS

Pre-requisite: ENGL 1113 with a “C” or higher. This course will give students a firm grounding in ethical principles as they apply to reporting, confirming the proper use of sources, confirming the validity of information, and the business of news. Students will also develop their own personal guidelines for what is acceptable behavior for someone employed as an electronic journalist.
