hrs. This course is designed to provide the student with an opportunity to work in a degree/program related environment. Emphasis is placed on the student’s “real world” work experience as it integrates academ- ics with practical applications that relate meaningfully to careers in the computer discipline. Significance is also placed on the efficient and accurate perfor - mance of job tasks as provided by the “real world” work experience. Grades for this course will be based on a combination of the employer’s evaluation of the student, and the contents of a report submitted by the student. Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills gained in the classroom to a “real world” work experience.
