hrs., Lab. 6 This course is designed to develop the student’s knowledge of the materials and procedures of paint- ing beyond the introductory level. Emphasis is placed on the creative and technical problems associated with communicating through composition and style. Upon completion, students should be able to demon- strate the application of the fundamentals of painting and the creative process to the communication of ideas. Prerequisite: ART 233. Code B. Offered: TRA. ART 291. SUPERVISED STUDY IN STUDIO ART I 3 cr. hrs., Lab. 3-12 This course is designed to enable the student to continue studio experiences in greater depth. Topics are to be chosen by the student with the approval of the instructor. Upon completion the student should have a greater expertise in a particular area of art. Prerequisite: None. Code C.
