hrs., Lab. 6 This course introduces methods of clay forming as a means of expression. Topics may include hand building, wheel throwing, glazing, construction, design, and the functional and aesthetic aspects of pottery. Upon completion, students should demonstrate through their work, a knowledge of the methods, as well as an understanding of the craftsmanship and aesthetics involved in ceramics. Prerequisite: None.
