CAM 1194 - Weldability of Metals CAM 1194 - Weldability of Metals 2 Cr. Hr(s). This course will provide the non-metallurgist with basic knowledge of various metals and their weldability, including metal properties, selecting filler metals, heat input, preheating, and post-heating. The course will consist of and be designed to provide training on metal properties, basic metallurgy, classification of ferrous metals, heat treatments, hard surfacing, and metals identification; along with weldability of stainless steels, tool steels, cast iron, aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, nickel alloys, and titanium alloys.
