WTT 104 — ADVANCED WATER TREATMENT – 4 Units

Prerequisite: WTT 102 with a grade of C or higher Advisory: MATH 73 with a grade of C or higher Note: Students may be required to attend no more than three field trips during the semester. Class Hours: 72 lecture total (when offered in the distance education format, hours will total 216) This course covers water supply and treatment, the historical development of water quality control practices, water sources, public health aspects of water supply and regulations, advanced methods and processes related to chemical and physical treatment, evaluation of the various specialized treatment processes, instrumentation and control, and utility management. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
