NUTR 340 — WEIGHT REGULATION: BIOLOGY AND BEHAVIOR
0 Units Prerequisite: NUTR 25 with a grade of C or higher Class Hours: 54 lecture total (when offered in the distance education format, hours will total 162) This course examines the underlying physiology and behavioral aspects of weight regulation. It addresses the basic principles of weight management, nutrition, exercise, and behavior in an integrated approach. It takes a multifaceted, public health approach to examine all factors contributing to weight management issues including detailed coverage of treatment approaches and prevention strategies. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
