FIRS 186 — COMPANY OFFICER 2E, WILDLAND INCIDENT
OPERATIONS – 1.5 Units Prerequisite: FIRS 108 with a grade of B or higher, or Office of the State Fire Marshal Fire Fighter 2 Certification or equivalent Note This course may be repeated any number of times for credit by persons who are legally mandated to meet training requirements as a condition of continued paid or volunteer employment, or to maintain or renew certification. Class Hours : 28 lecture/12 lab total (when offered in the distance education format, hours will total 96) This course provides information on evaluating and reporting incident conditions, analyzing incident needs, developing and implementing a plan of action to deploy incident resources completing all operations to suppress a wildland fire, establishing an incident command post, creating an incident action plan, and completing incident records and reports. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
