FIRS 145 — LOW ANGLE RESCUE – 0.5 Units

Grading: Pass/No Pass Option Notes: 1. Students must provide their own safety equipment which will include helmet, gloves, long pants, long sleeve shirt, and work boots with aggressive soles for traction on steep slopes. 2. This course may be repeated any number of times for credit by persons who are legally mandated to meet training requirements as a condition of continued paid or volunteer employment. Class Hours: 27 lab total This is a course designed to train firefighters and emergency medical personnel in low angle rescue techniques. Students will learn about equipment, identification, and care.
