Grading: Pass/No Pass Option Class Hours: 18 lecture total (when offered in the distance education format, hours will total 54) This course provides an introduction to essential personal finance concepts and skills, focusing on practical applications for everyday life. Students will explore the fundamentals of percentages, including what they are, when they are used, and how to calculate them. The course will also cover budgeting techniques, setting financial goals, identifying community resources, and strategies for saving. By the end of this course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to manage their f inances effectively and make informed financial decisions. This course may be taught in a distance education format.
