This is an elective course in perioperative nursing for the nursing student in the apprenticeship program. This course is designed to prepare a competent and knowledgeable practitioner to administer optimum care to select surgical patients during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of surgical intervention for nursing apprenticeship students.
