Associate of Arts
The Associate of Arts (AA) Degree is awarded to individuals who successfully complete a program of collegiate-level work that is transferable towards a bachelor's degree. The state minimum general education core of 35 semester credit hours includes courses in English/writing, the humanities and fine arts, history and the social sciences, mathematics, and the natural sciences. Graduates who earn the AA degree are guaranteed the transfer of applicable credits and equitable treatment in the application of credits for admissions and degree requirements at other Arkansas institutions of higher education. This degree is offered online and on campus.
