This course is designed for students enrolled in Computer Network Technology (CNET) and other technical career programs. The following skills will be covered throughout the course Page 115 Arithmetic, algebra, measurements, statistics, geometry, and nursing skills such as calculating dosage and reading labels and syringes. Students will learn how to perform operations on whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and integers. The student will solve ratios, percentages, and proportions, convert from one unit of measurement to another, study probability and statistics, and geometry. The student will also cover Roman Numerals, time, apothecary measurements and conversion, and dosage. Note: This course is designed for students enrolled in Associate of Applied Science Degree or Technical Certificate programs ONLY and may not be transferable.
