CRIM 1313 — – Introduction to Criminal Justice
This course covers the history, development, philosophy, functions, current operations, and future trends of the criminal justice system in a democratic society. Emphasis will be placed on contemporary problems in the definition of law, the enforcement of law, strategies of policing, judicial systems, sentencing strategies, and correctional practices.
