ETEC 3003 - Applied Fluid Mechanics ETEC 3003 - Applied Fluid Mechanics This course covers the basic principles of statics and dynamics of fluid and fluid flow systems. The properties of fluids, flow measurement devices, Bernoulli’s equation, boundary layer theory, concepts of laminar and turbulent flows, Reynolds number, major and minor losses in a pipe flow system, open channel flow, pump characteristics, pump selection and application and concepts of flow measurement devices will be discussed. As needed.
