GSP 070 — ESL: Advanced 1-4 Hours

This course is designed for ESL students who function independently in the use of English in routine and work-related situations. The purpose of this class is to increase students' fluency in language skills using complex structures. Students focus on academic reading and writing skills within a variety of topics. This course may be taken four times for a maximum of 16 credits. NOTE: This course may not be counted toward degrees or career certificates. Prerequisite: BEST Literacy Score of 76-78; CASAS Score of 221-235. Semester Hour(s): 1-4 hour(s) Lecture / Lab Hours: 1, 2, 3, or 4 lec/week
