BSC 2005 - Fundamentals of Biology BSC 2005 - Fundamentals of Biology This course is intended as a one-semester biology experience for the student whose career emphasis is not focused on the sciences. It is intended to the student construct a framework for the interpretation of interrelationships between all living systems. It includes the cell concept, multicellular organization, and reproduction; the taxonomy, morphology, and physiology of important groups of the animal and plant kingdoms; and the study of the organism-environmental relationships. The course earns General Education credit under the Biological Sciences category for which students will demonstrate the skills necessary to understand and apply scientific concepts and reasoning, including the analysis and interpretation of various types of data.
