MATH38B — Precalculus II
Units: 4 Hours: 72 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade General Education: Delta Area 2; Cal-GETC Area 2 Term Typically Every term This is part II of a preparatory course for Calculus. In this course, emphasis is placed on the trigonometry and analytic geometry knowledge necessary for success in Calculus. Topics include trigonometric functions, trigonometric applications, polar coordinates, vectors, and linear and non-linear systems. Graphing calculators may be required. Since MATH 38B and MATH 38BEX are equivalent courses, credit may be awarded for either MATH 38B or MATH 38BEX but not both. (HBCU, UC, CSU, C-ID MATH 955)
