MATH13 — Survey of Calculus
Units: 4 Hours: 72 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade General Education: Delta Area 2; Cal-GETC Area 2 Term Typically Every term Advisories: MATH 38A Precalculus I This course is designed primarily for the student studying business, life science, social science, or engineering technology who wishes an overview of the practical aspects of Calculus, rather than the more rigorous development found in the three semester sequential Calculus series ( MATH 1 , MATH 2 , MATH 3 ). Since MATH 13 and MATH 13EX are equivalent courses, credit may be awarded for either MATH 13 or MATH 13EX but not both. (HBCU, UC, CSU, C-ID MATH 140)
