MACH74A — Computer Numerical Controlled Machining - Mill

Units: 3 Hours: 18 hours LEC; 108 hours LAB Grade Options: Letter Grade Term Typically Every fall term Advisories: MACH 70B with a grade of “C” or better. This course combines manual machining processes with automated machining equipment. Students will develop programs using “G” and “M” codes to automate the machining process. The major emphasis of the course is the programming of the Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) milling machines. In addition to programming, the student will develop setup procedures and operating techniques commonly used in industry.
