MACH70B — Machining Fundamentals II

Units: 3 Hours: 18 hours LEC; 108 hours LAB Grade Options: Letter Grade Term Typically Every spring term Advisories: MACH 70A with a grade of “C” or better. This course is an introduction to metal machining theory and application as well as blueprint reading, related mathematics, and dimensional inspection. Subjects include precision measuring instruments, hand tools, part layout, and the setup and operation of manually operated machine tools with an emphasis on the vertical milling machine.
