CSN44 — Cloud Computing Essentials

Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC; 18 hours LAB Term Typically Every spring term This course introduces the student to essential Cloud Computing services and common solutions. The course covers the fundamental Cloud Computing concepts related to compute, database, storage, networking, monitoring, and security. Students will start working in Cloud Computing through hands-on lab exercises. The course covers the concepts necessary to increase student understanding of Cloud Computing services, so that they can make informed decisions about solutions that meet business requirements. Throughout the course, students will gain information on how to build, compare, and apply highly available, fault tolerant, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions. (HBCU, CSU)
