CS16 — Introduction to Game Design

Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC; 18 hours LAB Grade Options: Letter Grade Term Typically Every spring term Advisories: CSP 17 or CSP 31A with a grade of “C” or better. This course is an introduction to current and future techniques for electronic game design and programming. Topics include graphics, game programming, game engines, motion control, narrative in games, game interfaces, artificial intelligence, music and sound, mobile games, “Serious Games” and social and interface issues of multi-user play. Prerequisites: CS11, CSP17, CSP31A
