ASCI34 — Animal Health and Sanitation
Units: 3 Hours: 36 hours LEC; 54 hours LAB Grade Options: Letter Grade Term Typically Every spring term This course is an overview of elementary anatomy and physiology of livestock including preventive measures for common diseases and parasites. The safe use of various vaccines, equipment, and restraint techniques used in the routine treatment of farm animals and the selection of proper treatment techniques, veterinary terminology, and handling practices are included.
