ASCI10 — Principles of Animal Science
Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade General Education: Delta Area 5 Term Typically Every term This course is a scientific approach to the livestock industry encompassing aspects of animal anatomy, physiology, nutrition, molecular and classical genetics, epidemiology, animal health and animal behavior. Emphasis is placed on the origin, characteristics, adaptations and contributions of livestock to the modern agricultural industry. (UC, CSU, C-ID AG-AS 104)
