AJ53 — Correctional Interviewing and Interventions
Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade Term Typically Every term This course is an overview of the techniques in interviewing and interventions available to practitioners in corrections. The student demonstrates the use of appropriate techniques and theories in confidence-building which may be used by the correctional employee in client interviews. This is a basic course for the student who is planning to enter or who is already employed within the correctional science field. (CSU)
