RNSG 2371 — Concepts of Advanced Nursing Practice and Management
This course provides the articulating student the opportunity to synthesize the roles of the professional nurse; application of systematic problem solving and critical thinking skills; focus on the care of patients throughout the lifespan with continued emphasis on leadership and management skills in the provision of care to small groups of adult clients and their families in multiple settings; and demonstrate competency in knowledge, skills, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. The focus of this course will be the care of the critically ill patient and nursing management.
