Subjects of study include an introduction to vocal anatomy, diction (International Phonetic Alphabet), voice classification, voice literature, textual and musical interpretation, performance etiquette, stylistic appropriateness and career opportunities. (This course is intended for music majors with voice as a principle instrument. Students should complete two semesters total whether planning to continue in performance or education.)
