INTL 1010 - Introduction to Global Studies INTL 1010 - Introduction to Global Studies 3 Credit(s) This is an interdisciplinary course that approaches global topics from the perspective of various disciplines while analyzing the impacts of globalization on peoples’ values and lives. Students will increase their knowledge of global social and cultural institutions, political and economic processes at work in the world, and changes that science and technology are making and have made on the world we live in. The course is designed to enhance the students’ appreciation of other cultures and their awareness of personal and ethical responsibilities as global citizens.
