BIO 37504 - Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy BIO 37504 - Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy A study of the similarities of anatomy and phylogenetic relationships of major vertebrate groups. Emphasis is on comparative anatomical structural, functional, and evolutionary relationships within and between major taxa or vertebrates. Laboratories include dissection and study of representative chordate systems with emphasis on the anatomy and evolution of fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals.
