NA 101 - Fundamentals/Skills for Nursing Assistant NA 101 - Fundamentals/Skills for Nursing Assistant 3 Total Credits Students learn about the role of the nursing assistant in meeting the basic needs of the client, including legal and ethical implications. Students will learn all of the skills necessary in the role of a nursing assistant to provide for an optimal level of functioning to the client. Student will gain basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to care given by nursing assistants. Student will learn to recognize and report abnormal signs and symptoms of common diseases and conditions. Principles and skills of rehabilitation and restorative care are discussed. Also included is a mock NACES written and skills exam Course
