FOR 316 — Advanced Field Studies II

This is an advanced practical field course taught during the spring semester at the school forest. Designed to apply skills acquired in other natural resources courses and under field conditions. Subjects include fisheries and wildlife analysis, aerial photo interpretation, vegetative inventory systems, and integrated forest construction projects, and field problems. Course consists of a workday emulating field techniques of the natural resources profession. Preparing school forest infrastructure for summer season. A room and board fee is required. Field trip required for this course.
