MT106 — Introduction to Manufacturing and Safety

It introduces manufacturing specializations such as mechatronics, precision machining, and welding. It also covers fire safety, pressurized gases, electrical hazards, and safe machine usages. Students will become acquainted with OSHA policy and will have the opportunity to earn Safety Certification through the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC).
