CHM 1025C - Introductory Chemistry CHM 1025C - Introductory Chemistry 3 hours Lecture, 3 hours Lab, 4 credits Lower-Division College Credit AA Elective: Yes This is an introductory course in the basic concepts of chemistry. No previous instruction in chemistry is required. Topics covered include the structure of the atom, the structure of compounds, the periodic table, and basic stoichiometry of equations, as well as measurements, chemical equations, states of matter, solutions, and acids and bases. Some basic organic chemistry may also be covered. Laboratory experience supports and applies the principles of chemistry developed in the lecture portion of the course. Search for Open Classes
