VPT2220 — Advanced Alternative Editing Applications

The goal of this course is to develop artistic skills as an editor, moving students from the role of technician to visual storyteller. The course introduces structural and aesthetic challenges and further develops technical editing skills. The course also covers areas such as color correction, audio sweetening, motion graphics, and Photoshop. Prerequisite(s): ACT Reading score of 19 or satisfactory placement scores or completion of Learning Support Reading and VPT 1220 Corequisite(s): ACT English score of 18 or satisfactory placement scores or Learning Support Writing
