GEOL2030 — Geology of the National Parks

This course will use the National Parks to build a comprehensive understanding of geologic processes, and the events that built and shaped the current landscape of the United States. National Parks are well known treasures of our country, providing the opportunity for everyone to enjoy and admire the varied and natural beauty of our land. The diversity of the parks reveals a look into the geologic history of North America, and provides an opportunity for a deeper understanding of the geology of the United States.
