AGRI2012 — Dendrology & Silvics of North American Trees
This course introduces concepts and practices involved in the naming and identification of different tree species. Topics covered include summer and winter characteristic(s) for identification, management programs, soil fertility, and ecological interactions. Fluency in the scientific naming (Latin) of woody species is emphasized.
